In 2019, a natural cosmetics enthusiast started creating creams, aromatic sprays, and other products made out of handpicked herbs from clean remote natural locations. Later, in 2021, after receiving positive feedback, she dreamed of creating a brand called Lief that would reflect her passion. She approached me to design a logo and packaging for her product line. The brand toolkit needs to reflect the owner’s desire to create natural products grown in the nature.
I created a series of logo concepts inspired by natural elements, like flowers and plants, and explored how a leaf can be implemented. The final logo features a simple yet elegant floral motif and clean, modern typography. In addition, I drew natural floral illustrations that were used in the packaging. The black and white colours emphasize the natural color of the products.
