Greta, a South African living in Slovakia, approached me with the desire to create a rooibos tea brand in the Slovak market that offers products sourced directly from a South African farm. I wanted to create a strong brand that reflects the core and beauty of the South African culture. I had the honor to work on the project from the beginning and influence both strategy and identity of the rooibos tea brand – Inyani. The challenge was to create a brand that would stand out in the Slovak market while conveying the authenticity and high quality of the product.
The final design features an elegant sans-serif logo, calming yet contrasting color palette, minimalistic illustrations and packaging, and authentic lifestyle photography. Inyani is currently in selected grocery stores in Bratislava, Slovakia, and receives positive feedback from customers that appreciate the natural and authentic brand look.
